I’m Catherine Juon—EOS Implementer® and lifelong believer in traction, discipline, and impact—not just in business, but in life. That belief led me to co-found Empowering Change, where we help hope-driven visionaries and social impact organizations break through barriers and create real, lasting impact by leveraging the Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS®).

Now, I’m taking that mission beyond the boardroom and onto the bike—riding in The Munga, one of the toughest ultra-endurance mountain bike races on the planet. Why? To raise critical funds for the education, opportunity, and future of the children at Middelburg Care Village.

I’m beyond proud to ride with the Care Riders—alongside my fellow change-makers, Muzi Khumalo and Andre Brandmuller. They’ve built a powerhouse team of purpose-driven cyclists, backed by an extraordinary crew. Together, we’re taking on 1,130 km (702 miles) of South Africa’s wild and unforgiving Karoo Desert. 120 hours. No shortcuts. Zero excuses. All in—for the kids.

Our goal is to raise $40,000 to fund tuition for the children of Middelburg Care Village in South Africa so they can attend Saint Peter Christian College. Unlike many local schools, SPCC offers stability, small classes, and a values-based education—giving MCV kids the support they need to thrive.

The Reality of Education in South Africa

📌 Only 50% of students who start school in South Africa make it to Grade 12.
📌 More than 60% of children can’t read for meaning by age 10.
📌 Unemployment among youth (15-24) is over 60%, largely due to lack of education and skills.

Education is more than just books and classrooms—it’s the difference between struggle and success, between uncertainty and opportunity.

As an EOS Implementer® and founder of Empowering Change, I’ve dedicated my life to helping people realize their full potential. This ride is an extension of that mission—on two wheels, across unforgiving terrain, for a cause that truly matters.

$3,250 ensures 26 children stay in school, feeling supported and moving ahead.
$39,000 covers a full year of tuition for all 26 Middelburg Care Village students — a year of showing up to class, being surrounded by possibility, and daring to believe in a different future. Saint Peter Christian College provides more than academics — It’s where stability takes root, confidence is nurtured, and hope begins to reshape lives.
